The most quoteable and helpful book I have read in a long time...

How much control do we really have over attaining massive wealth or finding the ideal partner? We might waste our lives searching for fortune or Mr. Right and miss every exotic destination, every moving moment and glorious mountain peak, every inspirational person, pleasant distraction, or fascinating side trip as we could have been reveling in along the way. Furthermore, even the term "pursuit of happiness" strikes me as odd. It is implied that happiness is running away from us and we're desperately chasing after it, trying to catch it in our butterfly nets.
